St. Joe Bay last weekend

Good afternoon to all- I only got to fish Sunday morning on St. Joe Bay- rained us out the rest of the weekend and Monday.
We didn't get many fish, but what we got were all nice male specks. They ate Spooks, live shrimp, GULPS on jigs, and even flyrod poppers. We got specks from 2 to nearly 5 pounds. Saw a very few reds, but they didn't want to play.
We put in at Presnell's and paddled out around Bird Island and over the grassbeds. Give the Bay another week of warm weather and sunshine, and the specks should be getting very good.
I'm already looking forward to the next run over to PSJ and the Bay.
What's the word on St. Marks Refuge waters?

Great news Ed
We're headed that way next Wed thru Sunday! Gonna fish in SJB and IP area and work the BTB areas at the beachhouse for some smokers and spanish. Hopefully be posting a bunch of pics from there later
