Mashes Sands or Ochlockonee Bay
Anybody familiar with this area for redfish and trout. What kind of bait. Where? Tides? And any helpful info?
I'm not retired, just tired!

Hi!
Both of the places you mentioned will have plenty of reds and trout, and while an outgoing tide would be considered " ideal", you can catch them at all stages of the tide, all year long.
Topwater, spoons, and jighead/plastic is the way to go for artificial, shrimp or gulp under a popping cork if you're into that kinda thing and don't mind catching bycatch.
I believe there's a sticky here somewhere that has alot of info in it for newcomers to our area......
Have fun, be safe, take pictures, and welcome aboard!
