20 May FCKA Monthly Cookout

Post by SRAces »

Jeff,

You mentioned a May cookout in the Wakulla thread at Alligator Harbor on 20 May. Thought I would start a separate thread on it. I can bring buns and condiments again. No problem. Were you thinking of using Leonard's Landing as the meeting/launch spot?

That will work. First light. You can launch a little west of there if you choose. But we will cook out at Leonards Landing.

Looks like fun. We may try to get a few of the ATL crew down for the festivities. Any suggestion on a place to stay close to Alligator Point? I have used the Best Western, just curious if there are any other decent places.

Hey,

I have myself and a friend that are planning on coming down Saturday morning. Is there anything we can bring? Maybe a cooler full of water/soda? Just let me know and we can handle it.

Sounds like a lot of fun.

Zeke392 and I will be down from Atlanta. I'll bring chips, is there anything else I can bring?
We'll be staying at the Best Western on 98 arriving some time around 11:00 Friday or so and plan to do a little fishing for the afternoon. May hit Leonard's Landing or Bottoms road if anyone wants to join us (feel free to shoot me a msg if you'd like to get together). I'll be in an Orange Outback Paddle or peddle up and say Hi. Can't wait.

What time will we need to be in from fishing for the festivities?
