Warmer Weather
Definitely have the late Winter blahs. Low of 20 degrees Thursday night?! Can't wait for the water to warm up a bit.

Definitely looking foward to some warmer weather. Looking like Sunday will be a beautiful day. Thinking about pulling out the kayak. Also, looking forward to the time change in a few weeks!

I'm struggling with feeling too bad for you but I will try to make you feel better. It would be difficult to even launch a kayak here with 8" of hard water on top of the cold wet stuff. Calling for a high of 4 and low of -10 Thursday night. Y'all are smarter than me, and you can quote me on that! Now get your gear in order so you can be on the water when Sunday comes along.Mongo wrote:Definitely have the late Winter blahs. Low of 20 degrees Thursday night?! What a beautiful sky, Mongo!
And a good perspective, BackCast.
Enjoy the brief chill spell with a toasty fire and dreams of warmer weather right around the corner.

Re: Warmer Weather
You folks have got to get out, catch some fish, post pictures and provide me with some glimmer of hope that there really will be good weather again!
This past Saturday started out as a cold but nice day so we took the dog for a walk. Then the clouds rolled in and the snow started. I think Chester enjoyed his walk.
Earlier this week the driving was OK assuming you could find the road. This was on my way home from work.
The following day the sun tried to break through but cold is still cold!

Re: Warmer Weather
Thanks, Mongo, I needed that!
My current dilemma is making the decision between heading south for one week in March and another in May, or skipping March and spending two weeks in May. I'm leaning toward two weeks in May because it reduces time spent on the road, fishing and paddling is better, I get more of an opportunity to meet up with other folks, and my wife doesn't insist we waste some of our time golfing. But the March trip has become sort of a tradition for my wife's birthday. Besides that, it's two months sooner. Decisions!
