Brand new Shimano Saros 4000 reel and Teramar rod

Post by garydroze »

Won the spin combo in a tournament. Best prices I could find online were...

Shimano Saros 4000 reel: $139.99 plus Florida tax
Shimanao Teramar rod: $119.99 plus Florida tax

Will sell these brand new items for $95 (reel) and $80 (rod). That's 45 bucks+tax off the reel and 40 bucks+tax off the rod.

Why selling? This tackle is so nice I'd be reticent to take it wadefishing with me.

I gotta check with the CCA FL STAR director on exactly which rod they are giving. As it is matched with the largest model Saros, fair guess to assume one of the bigger, M or MH action sticks. Will know in a week when they send it.

Just picked the rod/reel up yesterday. Specs on the rod: 7 foot, medium power, fast action, rated at 6-15lb line, 1/4-5/8oz lures. Will sell them together for $170, which is $100 cheaper than retail.
