The lighthouse will never be the same. They should put your old yak up in a display case somewhere!

Congrats!

damn, almost everyone will have one but me.
I'll keep my eyes open but it may help to know which one you are after, features and weight vary a bit between them.
I've seen a few good deals on revolutions and outbacks come and gone but still too much $$ for me.

I am still keeping the Pelican for LH fishing, but I am going to explore some inshore fishing for Cobia like I used to do and the beach fishing in Panama City for Snappers.
I PM'd Rob first to get a better idea of what I want.
What kind is yours Tim?
Josh, I want one I can load and unload myself, I dont know what kind that it is yet as the only one I have test driven was Shorewalkers Pro Angler.

very nice.
this spring or summer I plan to hit PCB for some snapper and stuff myself.

You may be a little spoiled with the light weight of the Pelican, but since you have the truck bed i think you can manage just about anything you can get wheels under. you don't look like a wimp or anything.

just quick specs here in case you didnt look it up already
sport =
Length: 9' 7"
Width: 29.5"
Capacity: 225 lbs
Fitted Hull Weight: 53 lbs
Fully Rigged Weight: 66.3 lbs

revolution 11 =
Length: 11' 6"
Width: 29"
Capacity: 275 lbs
Fitted Hull Weight: 57 lbs
Fully Rigged Weight: 70.3 lbs

revolution 13 =
Length: 13' 5"
Width: 28.5"
Capacity: 350 lbs
Fitted Hull Weight: 69.5 lbs
Fully Rigged Weight: 82.8 lbs

outback =
Length: 12' 1"
Width: 33"
Capacity: 400 lbs
Fitted Hull Weight: 75 lbs
Fully Rigged Weight: 88.3 lbs

My Ride 135 Weight without seat is 75 lbs, 13.5' long, it's a bit heavy but i can get it on the top of my car.
I'd like an outback myself.
tell you this much, my next vehicle will be a truck or something.

The Pelican is 45#, so I'm thinking 75- 80#.

Thank you both for the help. I feel like a little newbie virgin.

yea, the PA 12-14 are between 100-110 lbs... and with all that real estate available that number is sure to climb with rod holders and crap
if i can unload the ride135 for around 500 i may be able to swing a used outback with the tax return.

let me know when you decide to hit PCB, been looking for an excuse to head that way and im sure some of those PCKFA peoples would love to meet up.

http://jacksonville.craigslist.org/for/3386013837.html (revo 13)
sellers don't list year and the one didn't put up pics of the outback but it may be worth calling for more info after you test drive one.
you can probably go to TNT and demo both.

Be very careful when buying a used hobie. I would not recommend getting one from 2008 and earlier as the cam column will break. I seen a few hobie's for sale in that time period and all were "repaired professionally" but hobie does not indorse a repair. They scrapped mine.

I'm going to do some looking for you today. In my opinion you should be looking for an outback or revo. I can post on craigslist if you would like? I've had a ton of luck posting WTB's on there.

I have an 06 model revo that I got this summer and it is in great shape and I've had no problems with it so I'd say they hold up very well in my opinion!
