Cheap anchor pole series 2

My original design lasted a few years of light fishing but snapped in two on me recently. I upgraded the 3/4” dowel and sch40 pipe to 1” and I tapered the end down more gradually. I used JB weld on the end then supplemented with concrete patching compound. This should provide the hardness on the business end to let me pierce tough oyster mud and sand. Image

This may be a bit late but for any that are thinking of doing their own stake out poles instead of fiddling around with grinding to a tip and trying to coat it and all that you can buy stainless points for a multitude of diameters from here for 12 bucks or less...
