Big Reds
I'm new to the FCKA site. I do all of my fishing from canoe. Hopefully this cold front is going to finally push some big reds inshore. Any one get any big ones in the rivers yet? A buddy and I have been catching a lot under slot but nothing huge yet.

Re: Big Reds
Welcome, Seminole! What's happening at the FSU Fishing club these days? Do you all get together to fish and do tourneys? Used to fish with some guys that said they joined for the beer meetings.
Not sure how everyone else cruises FCKA, but I go directly to "View New Posts" and it pulls up all entries that I haven't read yet. I just read em all and not worry about the category. Otherwise, I might miss some goodies!! imo
See ya out there!

Re: Big Reds
The FSU Fishing Club has been great. They still tailgate for all of the football games and we get together every other Wednesday at Po Boys. They had a fishing tournament in November and a camping trip. I have a group of friends within the club I go fishing with all the time and didn't know any of them previous to joining. The beer meetings are great! haha. Our dues are $35 a semester includes the beer at all the meetings and a shirt. They also raffle off stuff all the time like Guy Harvey shirts and other fishing stuff. So basically we all just get together eat and talk fishing. I'm looking forward to another fishing tournament in the spring they are suppose to put on and more of those beer meetings hahaha. I am also hoping that maybe we can get some tailgates going for the FSU Baseball season.WannaDoDat wrote:Welcome, Seminole! What's happening at the FSU Fishing club these days?
