Fall fishing questions

Post by jeeper50 »

Looking to plan another trip to the FC with a bunch of yaking coworkers, I'm wondering what is the fishing like in late September or very early October? We will be staying at the Shell Island fish camp and want to make an educated guess as when to reserve a cabin. Is the water temp cooled off enough by then or does that matter in the fall?
Give me all your input and suggestions.

It is reDQlus in October unless we have a Hurricane or an early Alaska front. Even then it picks right back up again. Look back on the saltwater fishing reports.

October.

If you decide to come during September wear flameproof clothing.
