Learned a lot already

Hi guys, I just bought my first yak for offshore fishing, not knowing how to get into the action. I've learned a lot just reading the posts and getting advice on gear, tips and tackle. I hope to hook up with someone this spring to guide me into the sport. I used to wear out the surf in Panacea to SGI, looking forward to getting back there. Great site, thanks.

Welcome! May want to consider joining the tournament in May...great way to meet some of the folks that post on this forum. Most are very willing to help even during the tournament. :27

Welcome aboard. Depending on your definition of offshore, you may need to head a wee bit west. Out of PCB and West there are some great opportunities for BTB (beyond the breaker). If you mean Apalachicola (inshore), you will love the spots that you can reach in your kayak. EIther way it is a win - win.
