Good Morning to All or as we say here in these mountains, "You All".
QUESTION??????
Where in the Panama City area, besides Bass Pro in Destin, is there a tackle shop that has a good selection of salt water flies?

Thanks,

There is a fly shop at water colors. And an Orvis close to were 30A meets back up with 98. It's in a shopping center right before SanDestin.

Any of the various Half Hitch destinations might be worth a call as well. I looked real quick in the catalog and did not see flies though.

Watercolors (developer name) is the alternate name for Seaside, FL.

Thank you for the replys. I will be fishing the PC inshore waters in a week or so. I will casting my flies. I have never fished salt water with flies before. I hope I will be lucky and hook a redfish or two.
Tnx agan.

If you are headed through Tallahassee talk to Lin at Kevin's - listed above. He's not afraid to tell what he knows and just as importantly he will tell if he ain't sure.

For what it is worth I did see that Half Hitch did show up on this website for fly fishing,
http://www.askaboutflyfishing.com/stpr_shops_guides.cfm?c=US&st=FL
but so did Big Bend Fly Shop in Tallahassee which has been closed for several years now. At least until BK decides to take on a new career :D .

The shop in Watercolor is called Old Florida Outfitters, here's a link... http://www.watercolorresort.com/Resort_ ... Shops.aspx

Watercolor is on 30a between Seaside and Grayton.
