Something a little different.

Did some tournament scouting on Friday. Also brought out my new/old stick I just got done refinishing. Even with the dense clouds and some wind was able to see some fish. Suber, we need a bamboo fly rod division.

Nice fish BearsFan. And the hard way too. Perfect.

Impressive BF. I doubt you'll see the flyrod division unless you can round a bunch of sponsors with one willing to put up a kayak.

Yeah. I will be trying for large red. I HATE blind casting and doubt I will be able to find a flounder without doing it. Then again if I can find the 35" red that was tailing on friday morning again and put a hook into it I might only need a 12" trout to do it.

i may be wrong, but i believe that last years jaxkayakfishing tourny slam runner-up was a guy who caught all three species on the flyrod.

Way to go Bearsfan. I won 2nd place in last years freshwater division using a fly rod. Let's see if we can make a good showing on the salt this year. Best of luck.
