I am in Mexico Beach near Tyndall AFB and the poon are running. Anyone else seeing the same?
Who has had success catching tarpon on the fly here on The Forgotten Coast? Flies? Techniques? Other suggestions?

there are quite a few anglers this way that target the tarpon with the fly. i don't know of many that do it out of a yak tho.
a bunch of studs here have caught them in their yaks using conventional tackle tho.

Come on now, you know there is 1. I have just been doing much more skiff fishing this year. I do have a great gopro video I will have to throw up soon.
