What do you own that you can float in besides a kayak?

Post by BloodyChamp »

:runs from tomatoes:

Ok would anybody without tomatoes like to share lol! I'm so bored!!!!!! I have a 10 feet long aluminum boat that I've taken everywhere. That thing has been dang good to me. Bream, bass, mullet, Redfish and more have seen that boat believe it or not, but I'm sure this crowd believes it unlike some others. It's to me what your kayak is to you.

I also have a Gheenoe and trailer that my cousin GAVE ME recently. It needed work but it floats and doesn't leak so he still certainly gave me a huge gift. I wish I were painting it now but I have to be to work in a few hours. I spent a whole day scrubbing it and sanding it so the hard part is over. I'm going to keep my Mercury 3.3 on it from now on and take it to all the places that don't involve dragging a boat over logs, and have the aluminum boat for the trips that do. I rarely used the motor on the aluminum boat anyway because of how fast the Aucilla and St Marks river come and go above and below logs, and because most doable places weren't ideal for the aluminum boat for other obvious reasons (salt, airboats etc).

I'll have to post pictures when it's all done.

Okay, BloodyChamp. I heard about someone at Snead's Smokehouse Lake that floats on a square piece of styrofoam complete with trolling motor. 8O

What??? Sneads Smokehouse has a gator or 500 in it, and Sneads Smokehouse isn't to far away from where that possible world record gator was seen on the deer camera a year or 2 ago. And I've never heard of Blackfish going full Piranha on anybody but they will bite if you stick your finger in their mouth.

In other words, keep all of your fingers and toes in the center of that Styrofoam block. And don't tip over. 8O

Took it to Goose Pasture yesterday and had a blast. It's light but tough. The fish were insane. I could have not only caught 1000 bream, I could have caught 1000 double hand sized bream. Bass were also biting. Mullet were everywhere, big mullet, and I have an appointment with them another day.
