Tired Creek 9-15

Post by bigboots »

Hit the water at daylight Sunday. Few boats launching but most headed opposite direction. Had a few hits on topwater early ,no hook ups. Have not done a lot freshwater in years and a little rusty. did manage a nice bluegill . Lake is pretty nice, lots of deep spots and trees and timber everywhere. Need to do some research on how to fish those conditions. Did learn one thing- don't leave your inflatable pfd in the front compartment of your kayak with no scupper plugs in,all of the sudden a loud noise and the lid popped up. Rookie mistake .

Sounds like a good time on the water, Tim. Sorry about the "oops!" with the inflatable PFD, recharging those things is $$$.
