Poon on the fly. Great job.

Unfortunately those GPS coordinates must have gotten chopped off the bottom of the post

If you don't mind, did you buy or tie that purple demon fly?

Nice!!! How many jumps did you get from him? Great job, I've been trying to boat one on fly going on three years now.

1 jump while she was trying to spool me, initial run of about 250 yds. A few half jumps/headshakes when we got caught up. Got them on video and am in the process of trying to take stills out if it. Fly recipe is posted as well. It only takes a few minutes to tie.

It looked like an EP fly. That purple color is $$$$$. I had one on the line last year, real hot fish too. Got caught up and everything, hook slipped out 30 feet from the boat. There aren't words to describe how mad I was.

Nice poon. I like the shot of its mouth. A lot to explore there. I'm always curious as to where the hook needs to be in that hard mouth.

It is a crap shoot. Top of the mouth is softest, but it is flat. Bottom of the jaw has plenty of room but is concrete. The fly rotates when they suction it in, hard to say where it will land. It is all luck, I may try circles eventually.
